MEMBERSHIP SELECTION 2007

Our Chapter is in the process of membership selection for new members into the Fraternity. The deadline for the submission of Form 9A-1's was 21 July.

At the 15 September Chapter meeting, the sponsoring Brothers who timely submitted Form 9A-1's will appear and answer the Chapter's questions regarding the perspective candidates. The answers will help the Chapter evaluate the perspective candidates' potential and suitability for Omega. The Chapter Brothers' vote will accept or reject some or all of the prospective candidates.

If the Chapter accepts some or all of the candidates, the Basileus will forward to the District Representative (DR) the names of the successful, prospective candidates. If the DR approves the names, he will notify the Third District Northern Area 1 Membership Selection Chairman to continue Alpha Omega's MSP. The Chairman will send each of the prospective candidates a letter inviting him to an "Information Session" regarding the Fraternity. Then, the Chairman will set a schedule for the MSP to include the four week process and the initiation ceremony.

An overview of the 2007 MSP will be discussed at the "Omega Forum" scheduled for 5:00pm before the Chapter meeting on September 15th -- See you there!
